Instructions

For those who are not familiar with modding ATS or servers. You will need both INTERNAL and EXTERNAL mods to access the server. We have made it as simple and straight forward as possible.

Instructions **READ CAREFULLY**

  ATTENTION

For INTERNAL

  • You simply go to the link and click subscribe all on the MAD House ATS Dedicated Server Collection.

For EXTERNAL

  • You will download the zip and scs files. Once you download them all, take all of the .SCS & .ZIP files and put them in your C:\Users\ [your username here] \Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod folder. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MOD FOLDER, CREATE ONE. The name needs to be (“mod”) just like that.

  • DO NOT EXTRACT ANY SCS OR ZIP FILES!

BEFORE YOU START THE GAME

  • Navigate to C:\Users\ [your username here] \Documents\American Truck Simulator\ and open config.cfg

  • Search for uset g_max_convoy_size "8" and change to uset g_max_convoy_size "128". IF THE LINE DOESN'T EXIST, ADD IT.

  • Save and close the file.

Loading The Game

  • Once you load the game go into your MODS MANAGER and activate all the mods you just subscribed too as well as downloaded. SET THE PRIORITY ORDER AS LISTED DOWN BELOW. CONFIRM changes and back out of the mods manager. Load your profile.
Alternative Method (Though it doesn't always work)
  • You can also activate the required server mods by selecting the server in the server list after typing the session id and clicking search. A window will popup on your right with a list of server mods. At the very bottom you can click ACTIVATE SESSION MODS at the bottom of that window. (Though it doesn't always work)
